Why Neuropad®?

Diabetic foot ulcers and amputations are serious complications of poorly controlled diabetes, often caused by peripheral neuropathy — a condition that affects about half of all people with diabetes.

Worryingly, according to Diabetes UK, over 30% of people with diabetes aren’t even aware that foot problems are a common complication.

The Neuropad® 10-Minute Screening Test® can help in the early identification of diabetes-related foot problems.

Early neuropathy impacts sweat control

Our screening test detects damage to the sudomotor (or sweating) function, which is one of the first signs of diabetic neuropathy, as small nerve fibres are impacted.

Complications may develop before treatment starts

Early identification of possible problems via the Neuropad® 10-minute screening test® is a huge advantage.

Early warning system

Think of the test as an early warning system for your feet, helping to diagnose neuropathy before more serious conditions develop.
